2020 lock done post

what I did in lock down

We did lots of baking, we made cupcakes, scones, and my birthday cake, and went on Easter egg hunt. We were out of breath by the time we got to the giant one, it was bigger than my head!

dad said it was the last two in the store we got a caramel eggs, morrows but giant one was hollow

but it was still delicious.Samuel ate his whole egg in one minute. I ate my whole big one in one day. How does he do this stuff?...We try to fly kites and i got mine stuck in the nabers tree our neighbor try to get it out with a fishing pole he got out of that tree then it got  stuck in our tree so he climbed it and kept telling us to pull or let more string out but in the end we got are kite back uhh… what did we do next oh yes we started to be woke up at 8:00 in the morning this wasn't a problem for Samuel but it was for me I wake up at 8:35 most day so she took 35 minutes of my sleep time. then we had to do school work

  1. Hi Caily, I enjoyed reading about your lockdown adventures. I am impressed by the size of your Easter egg, even more impressed that Samuel ate his so quickly! Did you know that in India they have a special kite flying day in January? Everyone goes onto the roofs of their house to fly them.
You made a good start of adding in your full stops. Do you think you could add them into the last part?

  3. I totally understand not wanting to get up early. Patch comes and pulls my blanket down if I am not up by 7am. I usually have my nephew and niece come over to stay for Eater but this year we had to use hangouts - they enjoyed showing me the egg they had for me and then eating it!!! Something helpful: you could use "readwrite" before you post your story or read your story to Samuel and this would help you work out where to put your fullstops.
